    • Setting for connecting computer through ArtNet protocol.
    • Set the parameters of K8, just set the first K8 connected to the computer. In the MADRIX software environment, 4 settings required.
    • Long pressing "Set" , power on the controller at the same time. The digital display screen displays HXXX, enter the setting interface.
    • Press "Mode" to switch between HXXX, FXXX, CXXX, dXXX. "Speed+" and "Speed-" to set specific parameters. After setting, press "Set" to save and exit the setting interface.
    • A network card can hold on 170×256=43520 pixels. Set to H680, 4 universes of ArtNet are occupied. 8-port occupies a total 4×8=32 universes of ArtNet. When K8 is fully loaded, Only 8 K8 can be cascaded, with a maximum of 43520 pixels. If you need more pixels, you need to add a network card.
    • SPI/TTL lamps: 8160 pixels. (170-1020 pixels per port, 1-4 universes)
    • DMX512 lamps: 1360 pixels. (1-170 pixels per port)

Offline: How to Connect DMX512 Console or KTV Console

    • Two ways to connect K8 and console:

    1. RJ45 DMX Socket: Connect K8 and console by RJ45 internet cable.
    2. XLR-Socket: Connect K8 and console by XLR 3-pin Male and Female Cable.

    • Connected to the DMX console, the controller occupied address is 6 channels. The K8 can adjust program, speed, brightness, gray value.

    1. Channel 1: Adjust program, 0-255.
    2. Channel 2: Adjust speed, 0-255.
    3. Channel 3: Adjust brightness, 0-255.
    4. Channel 4: Adjust RED, 0-255.
    5. Channel 5: Adjust GREEN, 0-255.
    6. Channel 6: Adjust BLUE, 0-255.

    • Display dXXX. XXX is is the occupied address of DMX. Adjusted by "Speed+" and "Speed-".
    • Wait about 8 seconds, the address is saved.

Offline :The max pixels per port

    • SPI/TTL lamps: 8192 pixels. (1-1024 pixels per port)
    • DMX512 lamps: 2048 pixels. (1-256 pixels per port)

    Multiple K8 cascading synchronization:

    • Series interface: The K8 "ARTNET NET OUT" connect the next K8 "ARTNET NET IN", and so on.
    • Parallel interface: The K8 "DMX512 OUT" connect the next K8 "DMX512 IN" or XLR interfaces, and so on.

    Notes:

    1. When one port of K8 is connected with no more than 512 pixels, the playback speed can reach 30 frames/second. If more than 512 pixels, the frame rate will automatically decrease as the number of pixels increases.
    2. The output of TTL, the controller must share the ground with the lamps. (that is, the ground wire output of the controller connect with the ground wire of the lamps).
    3. If multiple controllers are synchronized offline, the SD card must be of the same specification. For example, if 1G card is used, each controller needs the same 1G card. The card reading speed of different SD cards may be different, which will affect the synchronization effect, and each SD card must be formatted into the same type (FAT or FAT32).
    4. Before copying files to the SD card, format the SD card into "FAT" or "FAT32" format.
    5. Connecting a single line IC lamp, the data line of the lamp is connected to the controller DAT, and the negative pole line of the lamp is connected to the controller GND.
    6. Connecting a DMX512 lamp, the lamp's signal line A is connected to the controller D+, the lamp's signal line B is connected to controller D-.
