Model Description:
We have developed the 2018 991 Late Model GT3 RS as a 1/18 model of Porsche's factory stock 911.
Since this is the same 991 model as the previously announced "Carrera GTS", we initially sought to "overwrite" the interior and exterior features and design of the GT3 RS with the prototype data of the Carrera 4 GTS.However, when we checked the scanned data of the actual GT3 RS, we found that there was almost no compatibility except for the windows and headlights, and the cross-sectional shapes of the doors were also different.There are many points of interest in this model, but the most important is the "clean" look.For example, the black resin parts such as the duct trim and front lip spoiler were painted separately as an integral part of the body, which is more cost-effective, but the "edge" lines between the body-colored parts and the black parts are overwhelmingly sharp, so they were made as separate parts. Therefore, they are separate parts.The windows are injection molded parts that blend well with the curvature of the body line.The outer covers of the headlights and taillights have fine ribs engraved on the inside, so they are also reproduced using injection-molded parts due to the high reproducibility of detail.The GT3 RS also has an attractive spartan interior, all of which were sculpted using 3D scan data of the actual car. You can enjoy the high-resolution details of both the interior and exterior, such as the rigid roll cage, rounded seat shape, and design around the steering wheel.About Resin Models:
Although higher in price, resin models offer an extreme amount of detail and precision. The finish is near flawless in presentation, they are limited in production, they offer a ton of photo-etch details and some of the tiniest features are shown. Resin models are especially great when it comes to makes, models and aftermarket styles that we often do not see when it comes to our favorite cars.
